Marvel Cinematic Universe Breakdown: Phase One - Phase Four Speculation

Ever since 2008, Marvel Studios has wowed audiences worldwide by bringing your favourite superheroes (as well as the lesser known ones) to the big screen. Today, Marvel have such a strong monopoly on the superhero genre that any small amount of information that they dangle in front of their undying fans, they eat at it for weeks and go crazy!

The current Avengers will have their hands full this time round...
The latest teases from the homegrown studio came just last week at 2014 International Comic-Con in San Diego with test footage from Age of Ultron (only for those that were lucky enough to be there!) and a few props. Those props, from the same upcoming film, were a part of Ultron, most likely before he's turned on, a part of Iron Man's Hulkbuster armour - again certifying that the two WILL face off at some point, but reason is still unknown - and Captain America's shield shattered into three pieces.

Before Comic-Con however, Marvel also announced a total of NINE extra dates for upcoming movies coming from Phase Three and onwards, those dates are listed below:

The Avengers: Age of Ultron – May 1, 2015
Ant-Man – July 17, 2015
         Captain America 3 – May 6, 2016
         Unannounced film – July 8, 2016
         Unannounced film – May 5, 2017
         Guardians of the Galaxy 2 – July 28, 2017
         Unannounced film – November 3, 2017
         Unannounced film – May 4, 2018
         Unannounced film – July 6, 2018
         Unannounced film – November 2, 2018
         Unannounced film – May 3, 2019

With the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy set to be released in the UK in less than 24 hours and world wide on 1st August, I have constructed an in depth timeline infographic of the MCU that includes a look back as well as speculation from Age of Ultron and beyond. This is all my personal opinion in the direction that Marvel COULD go in the most logical way as well as the way I'd like it to happen.

So enjoy!
